THE PROJECT
The client wanted a unique flow board design that incorporated key symbols of Filipino and Canadian culture. He wanted elements from the flags, like the sun and stars, the maple leaf, and a tribal pattern representing protection. life, family, and strong bonds. All while integrating an Avengers-inspired aesthetic.
THE DESIGN
The goal was to take all the pieces the client threw at me and make them cohesive. I created a smooth, flowing layout that blended the two flags. Going through the cultural elements on each end and tying everything together with the core family: the A-Team. Using the Avengers-style font and some comic-style brush strokes for the flags, both themes were easily meshed with the blue, red, and yellow/gold.
It’s now a meaningful piece that proudly showcases the client's family story and cultural pride, all while adding a playful nod to the superhero world they love.
